Email Campiang Response- Bob Evan's

Your request for information on our menu items that do not contain gluten was forwarded to my department for response.

Attached please find a list of menu items that are potentially acceptable for those with celiac disease. None of our items are specifically designed to be gluten free. While many may be, Bob Evans and our suppliers realize sensitivity to glutens varies from person to person. Therefore, a claim of gluten free cannot be made because a non-gluten item may be cross-contaminated by a gluten containing item during the manufacturing process or come in contact with a product containing gluten during normal handling procedures.

The attached list represents the most current ingredient statement and is being provided for your personal use. We choose not to publish this information due to the sensitivities of the issues. Therefore, the requested information will be the most current and accurate. Because ingredients and items do change from time to time, the listing is updated at least every six to seven months.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. We very much appreciate your patronage of Bob Evans.

Have a great afternoon!

Emailing Campaign

I've decided to go on an emailing campaign to all the places I eat that have yet to create a gluten-free menu (or post it on their website). Places I have emailed so far: (Updated 31 March 2009)

Bob Evan's (They have a nutrional link but you have to click on each section, ie Breakfast, Lunch, etc and it says on the far right what it includes.... biscuit, etc, it's not very helpful as we know that gluten can be ANYTHING)
Buffalo Wild Wings
Mimi's Cafe
Old Chicago's
